I can't eat well or work out because...

"I don't have time to work out."

"I don't have time to plan my meals."

"I don't have time to cook during the week."

"I am not fit enough to keep up with my work out."

"I can't afford to buy fresh, healthy food."

Does any of that sound familiar?  Have you ever found yourself saying those things?  I have.  In fact, those excuses have all passed my lips numerous times.  Even now, I find myself thinking some of these things.  It's very easy to fall into the habit of finding reasons why not to do something, but when that happens, what are you really saying?  Why You are either saying that 1)  you are afraid to change or 2)  the change is not worth what you are giving up.  When faced with those two choices, is that really what you want to say?  Can we dissect that for a moment?

1)  You are afraid to change.

This is completely understandable.  Change is hard.  Change is different.  It is unknown.  It is outside of your comfort zone.  It takes courage.  But you know what?  Courage brings down walls; it builds bridges; it makes the dream reality.  It makes magic happen.

So what's it going to be?  Are you going to allow your fear to dictate your results, or are you going to make the decision to chase those results, no matter what?

2)  The change is not worth what you are giving up.

Again, this is understandable.  What you are reaching for does not have enough value, enough importance, to emotionally link you to those results.  It could be that your motivation is not something that resonates within your very core.  It could be that you have no idea what's really out there, how much it's really worth.  If you knew what you - YOU - were capable of, you wouldn't allow anything to stop you.

So, again, what's it going to be?  Are you going to find exactly what it is you want, or are you going to stay the same?  Even if you are unsure of the possibilities just outside your grasp, is what you have right now really worth not trying?  Is your weight really what you want?  Is your energy level where you want it?  Then make the choice NOW to do something different, to chase the dream.  What is your choice?
