Midweek Mealtime - Salad Dressings

It's the last day of my Shakeology Cleanse, so I thought for this week, I'd give you a couple of my favorite homemade dressing recipes.  There is nothing like making your own dressing, knowing exactly what goes into it.

These two dressings have very similar bases.  The first dressing is a creamy Parmesan dressing.  The second one is actually a recipe from the Ultimate Reset and is a creamy garlic dressing.  While both dressings have an oil and acid base, neither resemble Italian dressing - which is a HUGE plus for me.  I was always more of a ranch girl, myself.  The creamier the better.  These dressings satisfy that craving without the heavy mayonnaise or cream base.

The best part about these recipes is actually how much they *aren't* like recipes.  Simply add the listed ingredients to a blender and blend until well-combined.  These dressings can be kept in the refrigerator for a week.  Also, I count these as 1 orange container in the 21 Day Fix.



 

 

 

     Creamy Parmesan Dressing

      -  1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
      -  1/2 cup lemon juice
      -  1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
      -  1 Tbsp. honey
      -  2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
      -  salt and pepper to taste












     Creamy Garlic Dressing

       -  1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
       -  1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
       -  1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
       -  1/4 cup lemon juice
       -  2 tbsp chopped parsley
       -  1 tsp. sea salt
       -  1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
       -  1 tbsp honey
