Am I Looking for YOU? I Just May Be...Read This and Decide for Yourself!

I'm a dreamer.  I always have been.  I've always had this idea that I could change the world, if given the opportunity.  As a child, I dreamed of discovering the cure for cancer or writing the next great book of poetry.  I dreamed of traveling around the world, of being a missionary to the indigenous people of Latin America.  I dreamed of singing to audiences of enthralled listeners...  I had big, BIG dreams.

And then a funny thing happened.  Some of those dreams died.  Life got in the way.  I realized that money wasn't limitless.  Life got hard.  I still dreamed, but the dreams got smaller. And the old dreams were postponed, some indefinitely.

Isn't it funny how our dreams tend to shrink to our circumstances instead of our circumstances growing into our dreams?  Isn't that a little backwards?

Thankfully, that's not where the story ends.  I gained weight, a lot of weight.  And honestly, I think it may have ultimately been the best thing to ever happen to me.  Bear with me, here.  I have told you about my struggles with depression.  Heck, the title of this blog is a direct rebellion against that depression!  But that depression and its accompanying weight revealed a strength I didn't know I had.  And that strength has taken me on a journey full of joy and discovery and, yes, new and newly resurrected dreams.

I am so grateful and so blessed that God brought the Beachbody coaching opportunity into my life!  Now every week I am able to give to my church and to a ministry that is near and dear to my heart.  Every week I am able to put aside a little bit so that I can go to Latin America.  Every week I am able to spend a little bit of money on spoiling my husband.  And every week, I get to put aside just a little more for a BIG BIG dream, one that previously had seemed so far out of reach.

So now let's talk about you.  What dreams do you have?  What dreams did you use to have, before life got in the way?  What if there was a way to pursue those dreams?  What if what seems so far out of reach is really within your grasp?  What if God is saying, right now, to YOU, that this opportunity is FOR you?

I have some really really important questions for you:
  1. Do you enjoy helping people?
  2. Are you a natural encourager?
  3. Do you get joy from others' successes?
  4. Do you have something to reach for, to dream for?
Did you answer "yes" to any or even all of those questions?  Then this post is for you.  Let me be plain:  I want you on my team.  I want you to succeed. Join me on Team Joyful Fitness.  Join me, and let's change the world.
