I've had a lot of added stress over the last three weeks, and unfortunately, I have reacted by stress eating. And this last week? Since I've been incapacitated, hubby has been in charge of all the food. Although he has been tremendously supportive and has taken care of every meal, his choice of food preparation/retrieval has not been the healthiest. And trust me, I was NOT about to look this particular gift horse in the mouth!
Want to know a sampling of what I ate this week? (Don't judge me - I'm judging myself enough for both of us!):
- McDonald's hotcakes
- Velveeta Shells and Cheese
- Hamburger Helper Stroganoff
- Moo Goo Gai Pan
Needless to say, this girl needs a reset button! I still can't exercise (which is killing me!), but I can refresh my system. I had thought about doing the Shakeology Cleanse again, but then my coach mentioned having a group just for coaches to do the new 3 Day Refresh beginning today:
I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant to commit to the Refresh. I love my Shakeo Cleanse and really wasn't seeing a huge benefit to purchasing another 3 day program. Anyone else feel me on that?
But I did ultimately decide to commit, for a couple reasons:
- I could use the support. Today is my first day back at the office and back into "normal" life, complete with the increased stress levels. I could really use someone doing this "reset" with me, and there is NO ONE better than our team of coaches, in my opinion! Yep, even coaches need the support of challenge groups!
- I want to be able to give an honest and in-depth personal review of the program. How can I do that without doing it?
- There's variety - moreso than the Shakeo Cleanse. So I figured, why not?
