I mentioned last week how much I love my slow cooker when it's cold. I also love it when I'm busy or when I'm lazy or when I just don't want to worry about what to cook for dinner in the evening. So, basically, I just love it any time!
This recipe literally took me ten minutes to throw together, and it was an amazing dinner to come home to.
- 2 lb ground chicken breast
- 1 whole egg
- 1 cup dry quick oats
- 1/4 cup diced onion (I used green onions)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp dried dill weed
- 1/2 tsp dried chives
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 4 oz fat free crumbled feta cheese
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups Frank's Red Hot Wing Sauce
Directions:
- Using a mixer (or your hands), combine all ingredients except for butter and wing sauce.
- Form meat into balls approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter. You should get 24 balls.
- Place balls in 4 quart slow cooker.
- Combine melted butter and wing sauce; pour over chicken balls.
- Cook on low 6 hours.
