There were a couple conditions:
- No other vitamins for the three days. That meant no shakeo for those three days.
- No caffeine for those three days. No coffee, no soda, none.
- There was a certain routine that had to be followed to the letter.
I followed her instructions to the letter. And yes, I noticed a few things. Unfortunately, there weren't any positive benefits. I didn't have any more energy than I did before; in fact, I had less.
Without my daily Shakeo, I noticed more intense cravings - yes, even just after 3 days!
I love my morning coffee. It's a ritual as much as it is a caffeine infusion. I love waking up, making a cup of coffee, and sipping it as I read my Bible. I wake up gradually while I have time that is just for me. And I missed that TERRIBLY.
After the three days, I went back to drinking my Shakeo; and while I thanked my friend for thinking of me, I told her I wasn't interested in her products.

There is no one road to health. If there was, it would be the holy grail and pharmaceutical companies would be selling it for millions of dollars!
I know that the workout programs I follow and the shake that I drink work for me. They are the total package. They give me a schedule to follow and a big old boost in nutrition. There are no funny chemicals created in a lab, but there are delicious flavors to keep me satisfied (and my cravings at bay!)
I know that I am healthier than most other people I know.
I know that what I put in my body directly affects how it functions. I know that the fuel I use impacts the performance I get out of it.
The good news is, the exhaustion finally resolved when I realized I was putting my body through too much and that I needed to slow down.
Trial and error and finding what works for YOU to be the best you that you can be? I'll drink to that!
